As each season brings with it new temperatures, activities and delights – our bodies and minds also change and adapt seasonally.
Every season we run an event called a ‘Reset’. Each Reset is unique, and can include a combination of yoga classes, consuming delicious, clean, healthy food, and inspiring talks that will open your mind and reset your spirit for the new season.

A time to repair and rejuvenate our organs. A wonderful time to heal our joints, our damaged knees, our tight shoulders and improve our sight.
Spring is all about twisting.
The wood element supports us twisting the joints & tendons & rotation of the spine.
The liver allows us to change direction & constantly adapt to those changes.
The whole body works together to harmonise the liver.
The liver is a big organ sitting on the right hand side of the body at the bottom of the rib cage.
Be excited for change and harmony.

Reset your heart
with Susan
27-29 November 2025
6x classes over 3 days
Early bird $250
After 31st October – $295 per person (Max. 6 people)
The heart is a very delicate organ, it’s tough but delicate.
During this Summer Reset we will lower the centre of gravity and take the stress away from the chest to allow the heart to be soft and delicate. This in turn will allow the heart to sing & communicate internally and externally and to love and connect.
This reset will prevent heart surgery from emotional trauma and chemicals. Bad posture can lead to heart problems too.
Heart problems can manifest from odour in the arm pits to stuttering speech, sleeplessness, chest pain, shortness of breath to loosing your grip in your hands.
All these are signs you have heart problems so let’s improve our hearts.
When we open and release the heart it gaps and browns the shoulders which is a reflection of the heart opening and closing properly.
Natural happiness will return and expanded and infinite energy will return.

What is Zen Shiatsu?
Zen Shiatsu is a deeply therapeutic practice rooted in ancient Eastern philosophy that balances the body's energy, or Ki, by working along the meridian pathways to address physical, emotional, and psychological imbalances. Unlike massage, which focuses on muscles and circulation, Zen Shiatsu targets the parasympathetic nervous system to activate the body's natural healing response, revitalising weak organs and alleviating symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, and chronic pain. Suitable for people of all ages and performed fully clothed on a futon, this gentle yet profound therapy not only relieves stress-related conditions but also empowers individuals to understand and restore their overall health through a tailored, energetic connection that supports lasting change.
Alex Fortina – a bit about me!
My yoga journey began unexpectedly in 2013 when a friend introduced me to the practice. I assumed yoga was easy – until I discovered its physical intensity, mental focus, and the deep calm and energy it gave me. After just one session, I was hooked.
As a broke student, I taught myself through online resources, exploring styles like power yoga, vinyasa, and hatha. Later, a friend led me to yoga therapy with my teacher, Andzej, whose approach combined movement, breath, and Japanese healing techniques. Through him, I also discovered zen shiatsu and the macrobiotic diet, creating a holistic path to balance body, mind, and emotions.
After further studies in NYC and Milan with Rose Erin of Bodyaware, I deepened my understanding of yoga, Chinese medicine, and the five-element theory.
Since returning to Sydney, I've had the privilege of teaching yoga and shiatsu to people from all walks of life – athletes, trauma survivors, people with disabilities, and many more. I’m passionate about helping others reconnect with their bodies, find healing, and discover what’s possible through mindful movement and self-care.
I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
